Taco Bell is launching summer with a "Jetsons"-inspired drive-thru.
"Taco Bell Defy," a two-story, high-tech facility, will open this week. Brooklyn Park, Minnesota drive-thru customers will encounter video technology & a food elevator.
The new site has four drive-thru lanes with a "proprietary vertical lift" for dropping off pickup orders. Imagine a Mexican Pizza vacuum tube.

The 3,000-square-foot, two-story pickup area reduces delivery time to two minutes or less. The new site will have four lanes for app pre-orders and delivery pickups.
