Recipe for the Best Ever French Toast

Toasted bread, Eggs, Maple Syrup, Spices, and Dairy Products


Combine the half-and-half, eggs, syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a large shallow basin.

Soak each bread slice for 30 seconds in the egg mixture. Transfer to a baking sheet to soak bread.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a nonstick griddle pan. Cook four bread slices for 2-3 minutes till browned.

Once browned, turn the bread over and continue frying for another 2-3 minutes. Keep heated on a dish covered with foil. Continue with the remaining slices of bread.

Immediately serve, topping with powdered sugar, fruit, or maple syrup, depending on your preference.
